The North Washington Fire Protection District is seeking experienced candidates interested in the position of Firefighter/Paramedic. We are testing to fill one open position as soon as possible.

All candidates must have at least 5 years of experience as a firefighter and 5 years of experience as a paramedic.

NWFD would like to remind you that when you change your clocks you should change the batteries in your smoke detectors. 

Starting on March 16th NWFD will have a new Captain Cliff Martin, a new Lieutenant Casey Andersen, a new Engineer Brad Kramer and in June a new Lieutenant Jana Gilchrist. Congratulations to all of you.

After 30 years on the job Engineer Dave Richardson has decided to retire. As of 0700 on 2-21-13 Dave is going to be hanging up his boots. We wish you all of the best and hope you enjoy traveling the world. Congratulations once again Dave.

Join us for the 4th annual Trick or Treat Town at station 31, 8055 N. Washington Street, October 31, from 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. Kids accompanied by adults Trick or Treat for FREE in a safe and warm environment.

The Firefighters for North Washington Collected $33,955 for MDA. It was a long hot weekend but your donations have helped us send children to the Easter Seals Camp in Empire CO.  Thanks again to all of the firefighters and everyone who donated to this wonderful cause.
