The North Washington Honor Guard was established in 1985. The purpose of the Honor Guard is to honor any fallen firefighter as well as honor the “Colors” by posting the United States and Colorado flags at various functions in the fire service. In 2011 the North Washington Honor Guard started to participate in the CPFF Honor Guard Academy. With this knowledge the Honor Guard will be able to help out the CPFF for functions all around the state of Colorado and represent the North Washington Fire District proudly. The Honor Guard practices once a month to maintain their ability to be ready at anytime they are needed.
